Anyone who's oldskool will think twice as hard about a DRM game due to its obnoxious permissions, poor optimization and morale ambiguity. I'm aware theres bad people out there who don't care about supporting a good game and its devs. It's understandable that the Frigate's return from a mission works by making it disappear and become available again after the informed time.Originally posted by Gunslinger:this takes a special kind of stupid to post, yes DRM does work, no its not the main reason why people pirate a game, the main reason is more likely they have no plans to buy it and want to try it out anyway, a quick google search will find this game is yet to be cracked, it will also show warhammer 3 is now 164 days without a patch, sooner or later all DRM will be cracked but its not a quick processĪgain, google search brought up nothing? wow, gee. It wouldn't even be possible to know when exactly the Frigate would arrive and the game would have to constantly recalculate it's path and time for arrival. When the Frigate is comming back to you, their destiny is no longer stationary as you are moving from system to system all the time. Yes we don't know it's range, only that it's too far (when it is).Ībout not seeing the Frigate return, keep in mind that when they are going to a mission, their destiny is a stationary system, it's easy to show the Frigate moving towards it. I have no idea how to tell what the max range of the frigate even is.Īlso, I found that it showed it on route to a mission but not when its returning, you have to watch your upcoming events list / deployed marine status to know when its back.
